If you are trying to Join a league that is registered in SocialRoster you will probably fall under one of the following: Top
I am a Captain of a Team that should already have a spot in a league
I am a player on a Team that is already registered somewhere in SocialRoster
I want to start my own new team in an Existing League in SocialRoster
I want to Join an Existing Team registered somewhere in SocialRoster
Existing Team Captain
You should have EITHER gotten a "Captain Code" that is just a jumble of letters and/or numbers that you can enter into your League Page and be prompted to create your team.
Or in the login process if you are a new user.
OR You could have gotten an Email invite or a Facebook Notification that would look like this.

New Team Captain
If your League Commissioner is accepting new teams in their league, you will see a link to "Start a Team in this League" on the League Page. Click this and when the Commissioner approves your application, you will be able to create a Team and invite players.

Existing Team Player

Free Agent
If you haven't received an invite or a "Player Code" and want to join a league or a specific team just click on the "Become a Free Agent" link and a note will go to the Commissioner, if you apply on the League Page, or the Captain if you apply on the Team page. Once the Commissioner or Captain has approved your request you will be notified and can join the team.
